Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
 
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. 
 
The new team has two locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations. The planned takeover by AUDI AG turns two teams into a factory team – and you can be part of it.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).

You will assist with designing and developing the engine in the internal combustion engine development area. From the first part on the bill of materials, you will prepare the corresponding construction stage, component and variant bills of materials. You will be responsible for managing the engine assemblies. In collaboration with design, calculation, testing, engine design, procurement and logistics, you will ensure that the development of the internal combustion engine achieves the maturity level required for the environment as quickly as possible. You will be involved in shaping the development process.

Your Mission

  • Planning assemblies and conversions for single-cylinder engines, complete engines and components (exhaust gas turbochargers)
  • Preparing construction orders on the basis of the 100% bill of materials
  • Serialising the engine components to be installed
  • Managing the commissioning in accordance with the FIA specifications
  • Planning the creation path of the assembly / part in cooperation with Production and Procurement
  • Maintaining the bill of materials
  • Creating engine assembly lists

Your Profile

  • Technical degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or construction technology, logistics, industrial engineering
  • In-depth knowledge in the fields of engine technology, goods management
  • Experience with the management of engine assemblies or complex assemblies
  • SAP skills regarding the creation, approval and follow-up of bills of materials and production orders
  • CAD skills: Catia/Creo for assistance with creating bills of materials
  • Experience in motorsports
  • Ability to work in a team, organisational skills and strong sense of responsibility
  • Independent and precise working practices
  • Full professional proficiency in German or English and a willingness to attain a basic level in the corresponding other language are prerequisites
