Swindon Powertrain was established in 1971 as a high performance engine specialist.
The original activity was essentially maintenance of Formula 1 engines in the 70s and early 80s. There followed a period of development of the company with numerous successful motorsport projects in rallying and touring cars around the World.
Ownership changed at the beginning of 2010 bringing a new era for the firm. The new structure develops power-train products for both motorsport programmes as well as high performance road cars. Our range of departments covers design, simulation, manufacture and testing.
Swindon Powertrain is now the outfit that supplies high performance engines as well as cutting edge development projects and components to the automotive world and the motor-racing industry.
