Homestead-Miami Speedway has been open since 1995 following an initiative to spur economic recovery in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew. The Speedway, which was founded by Miami businessman, racing enthusiast and philanthropist Ralph Sanchez, is a 650-acre facility that features a 1.5-mile oval and 2.21-mile road course. MARTINSVILLE SPEEDWAY
Located in southern Virginia near the North Carolina border, Martinsville Speedway was built in 1947 by its founder H. Clay Earles. The track is the only venue to host NASCAR’s top series every year since its inception. In May 2020, Martinsville Speedway will host its first NASCAR Cup Series race ‘under the lights’. In the fall, the track welcome the series back, along with the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, to determine the Championship Four.
