SUMMARY
The Compressor Program Manager (PM) is part of the product development team for AC compressors. Current product teams are developing and producing a product portfolio consisting of fixed and variable displacement compressors and electrically driven compressors.

The position is part of the product engineering team developing the electrically driven AC compressor, which is a mechatronic product needed in conjunction with future hybrid or fully electrified powertrains.
The position contributes to the electrical compressor development activity by design and validation of electric AC compressors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing and developing AC compressor components working with a team of Product Engineers and Designers with focus targeted to the electronics portion of the compressor.

Working in the NASCAR vehicle dynamics group, the candidate will develop simulation software used by the race teams and the Engineering Department as well as work on vehicle performance.
Responsibilities:
Simulation model development.
Model correlation with test data.
Identifying and exploiting areas of vehicle performance / development.
Assist the vehicle dynamics group with the development of an OEM DIL Simulator.

PURPOSE: The Performance Engineer (PE) assists the Race Engineer (RE) in optimization of car and driver performance.
