Job Description
Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Concord, NC three times per week, at minimum.
The Role
As a Senior Engineer (m/f/d) Simulation, you’ll be part of a small UK team with the mission to support global Toyota with our in-house simulator technology.
We have an exciting opportunity to be part of the Performance Simulation Group as a Simulator Development Engineer Summary:
The current Formula One regulations heavily limit real world testing of a F1 car. This makes the role of unregulated simulation indispensable in the development and optimisation of many areas of a Formula One team, particularly in Performance Engineering. The Team is currently expanding their DIL simulator capabilities with state-of-the-art technology to be able to maximise these opportunities.
In 1901, Henry Ford design and built the racecar called "Sweepstakes." On October 10 that year, he drove Sweepstakes against Alexander Winton, a famous racer and builder. Against all odds, Ford won. That was the beginning - "the race that changed the world" - and it continues today. From our victories at Le Mans in 1966 and again fifty years later in 2016, to championships in NASCAR, World Rally Championship, and other series across the globe, the spirit of Henry Ford lives with us every day through our motorsports efforts around the world.
