AB Motorsport are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and hands on apprentice. This role would be suitable for someone who is currently studying or has completed their studies with the National College for Motorsport or similar. If you are at the beginning of your motorsport journey we can also assist with facilitating a course which would be the Engineering Operative Standard Motorsports Apprenticeship Level 2, delivered by the Bedford College Group. This role can be full or part time with a minimum of three days per week in the workshop.

Position Summary
Utilizes fabrication skills to work on components and equipment. Tools typically utilized are sheers, saws, punches, bead roller, belt sander, torches, templates, drills and brakes. Responsible for learning various areas of the car components and improving fabrication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to perform welding processes such as MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW).
Ability to weld components in flat, overhead, or vertical positions.
