The Composites Engineering Technician will support Team Penske's composites department with CNC-cut laminating kits using CAD software. A successful applicant for this position will have an Associate of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering Technology.

This role will be a vital member of our traveling racing organization that competes in the IMSA Weather Tech Sports Car Championship. This position will include extensive travel both domestically and internationally throughout the year for periods of 2-3 weeks at a time. This position will be based out of our Mooresville, North Carolina facility.

POSITION SUMMARY
Conduct testing and inspection to evaluate the quality of inbound, in process, and finished goods. Testing and inspection may include measurement to specification, weld quality (destructive/non-destructive), functional testing, feature presence, defect identification, and surface finish acceptance.
