The ideal candidate should have the ability to provide ongoing support to internal customers to ensure timely delivery of fabricated components.
Hendrick Motorsports, a leading NASCAR Motorsports operation, is currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated Race Mechanic. The successful individual will perform essential racetrack duties. The ideal candidate should have the ability to install and repair systems and components of the race car, such as brakes, drivetrain, suspension, steering, and cooling system. The successful individual must be able to communicate well and work closely with shop and track peers, as well as the impacted Driver.
The Pit Equipment Manager is responsible for the forecasting of equipment needs, allocation, procurement and receipt, maintenance, repair, replacement, and proper handling and storage of all equipment assets. In addition, this position is responsible for pit practice preparation and management of the pit technicians. The candidate will be mechanically inclined and responsible for overseeing and assisting with pit practice set-up, maintaining the pit vehicles, cleaning and maintenance of the pit surface.
Responsible for the supervision and development of garage technicians.
