The Role
Working in the NASCAR vehicle dynamics group, the candidate will develop simulation software used by the race teams and the Engineering Department as well as work on vehicle performance.
Responsibilities:
Simulation model development.
Model correlation with test data.
Identifying and exploiting areas of vehicle performance / development.
Assist the vehicle dynamics group with the development of an OEM DIL Simulator.

POSITION SUMMARY
Conduct testing and inspection to evaluate the quality of inbound, in process, and finished goods. Testing and inspection may include measurement to specification, weld quality (destructive/non-destructive), functional testing, feature presence, defect identification, and surface finish acceptance.

Hendrick Motorsports, a leading NASCAR Motorsports operation, is currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated Subassembly Mechanic. This position will be responsible for weekly servicing, maintenance, and assembly of the Xfinity suspension components including, but not limited to, housings, truck arms, spindles, control arms and all associated components. This position will be required to maintain communication with the Crew Chief, Car Chief along with shop staff to ensure weekly builds are completed in a timely and accurate fashion.
POSITION SUMMARY
Duties will include assembly, testing, and race-prep of shocks and related components. Will be responsible for testing shock and spring performance using shock dynamometers, and advanced spring raters. Perform engineering tasks utilizing simulation tools and laboratory testing to develop performance, including pull down rig, 7post, and various other laboratory equipment. This position will support the race teams as well as the performance and development group with interpreting and translating related data.
